The Tentrr Neversink Sanctuary campsite is nestled on the peaceful banks of the Neversink River, our private site is the perfect place to get away, relax, and recharge. The Tentrr Neversink River you can come enjoy kayaking, fishing, bird watching, or just exploring the tranquil waters of the Neversink River at this cozy, private retreat. The Space: Here you will be surrounded by the sounds of rushing water and the native birds which include bald eagles nesting nearby. It’s not unusual to see one in a neighboring tree or pass overhead. The Neversink River is beautiful any time of year. Our tent has queen-sized bunkbeds as well as the option of a traditional tent nearby to suite the needs of your party. Our site includes a private out-house and small garden sink for convenience. Points of interest such as the Neversink Reservoir, Frost Valley YMCA, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, or Resorts World Catskills Casino are a short drive away. Excellent hiking and waterfalls are also nearby at Minnewaska State Park Preserve, Slide Mountain, and Sundown Wild Forest. Campers and their gear transported to the site via UTV if requested in advance. When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage). When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be closeby and dogs are always allowed! Enjoy the game or access your subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) on the 50" smart, flat-screen TV. We have an assortment of books, games and children's toys as well as brochures for local points of interest. In the kitchen we have a stainless steel fridge and powerful convection oven, as well as a toaster oven, microwave and bread toaster. We don't have every gadget that you have in your kitchen, but we should have enough to get you going with basic pots, pans and utensils. We have a full set of cutlery, mugs and dishware, as well as disposable plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. We also provide a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of K-cups, tea bags, sugar and creamer. The dining room table offers seating for six. There are three bedrooms in the house. Each one has a window air conditioner during the warm months and storage space. The mattresses, pillows and blankets are super comfortable and each room has black-out shades, helping you to a great night's sleep even away from home. Master Bedroom: Offers a king-sized bed, nightstand and closet with a chest of drawers. There is an iron/ironing board and an extra fan in the closet. There is also a ceiling fan above the bed. Bedroom 2: This room is great for adults or kids. There is a bunk bed with a full size mattress on bottom and twin mattress on top. In the closet you can find the life jackets, tv dinner/laptop tables and a rail for the lower bunk in case you have young children. Sorry, no ceiling fan in this room, we value your head. Bedroom 3: This room has two twin beds with a nightstand in-between, and a bureau with hanging space and drawers in which you can find extra towels and blankets. This room also has a ceiling fan. The bathroom has extra toiletries in the medicine cabinet and there is a hair iron under the sink. There is a tub and shower. The back room is a great bonus space with a washer/dryer, extra standing fans and the garbage bins. There is enough space for an air mattress or two if you have extra guests. The back deck is a great place to relax with a table and chairs located next to the charcoal BBQ grill. We provide grill utensils, charcoal, lighters and lighter fluid. On the lawn we have chairs around a fire pit, perfect for outdoor cooking, smores-making or warming up in the colder months. Enjoy endless stars under the clear mountain sky. We have two Adirondack rockers and a hammock out in the summer months. There is baseboard heating throughout the house, with an individual thermostat in each room. There is also a 24,000 BTU split system located in the dining area which can provide extra cooling or heating during extreme temperatures. On the side of the house we have garden beds with seasonal, fresh produce. For this year, we have corn, pumpkins and grapes. If they are ripe during your stay, please help yourself to some! We also have an infant bathtub, pack-n-play, and toddler booster seat available if necessary. Just ask. The 4+ acre lake is located just a few hundred steps from the house and is a wonderful place to play or relax. The beachfront area (grass, not sand) has a picnic table for lakeside dining. The lake allows non-motorized boating and activities, and is stocked with an array of fish for catch and release fishing. The lake is less than 6' deep in most spots and is great for swimming. There is a dock in the middle during warmer months, perfect for lounging on or for jumping into the lake. We have a pedal boat that you can use, instructions can be found in the house manual. The lake does usually freeze over during the winter, allowing for ice skating, ice fishing or tubing. Please make sure it is frozen solid before walking on it! Pets are allowed case by case, please let us know in advance if you plan to bring one. If you bring a pet, an extra $25 cleaning fee will be charged after booking. We strive to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. We have a caretaker in the community and live nearby in case anything is needed. Newly renovated quiet peaceful. Lake rights for fishing boating swimming. There is a loft with a full size bed ,bunk beds , and queen size bed nice back porch with grill and patio, fire pit . The lake is about 100 feet away from house in a nice little community. There plenty of places to walk around and enjoy the country living. Please be kind to neighbors..there is a boat you can use to enjoy the lake or just jump in off the floating dock.

We were fortunate enough to be given 15 acres, out of the 60 acres of undeveloped family land and built the house is 2014. The house is also orientated so the sunset can be enjoyed from several places, whether through the 24 feet of glass doors on the back of the house or on the porches. While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry! Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Other Things to Note: Please respect the surrounding environment as well as its inhabitants. Interaction with Guests: In the age of social distancing, isolated time can still be quality time - especially when you’re unplugged and out in nature - and we want you to know that the Tentrr team and our hosts are working together to make sure you have a safe and relaxing experience. Our hosts have been doing a great job ensuring our campsites are clean and spotless for your arrival. We ask that you do your part as well - maintain social distancing, clean up after yourselves, and leave no trace - so that everyone in our camping communities can enjoy these cherished outdoor spaces. To limit the potential impact of community spread during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self check-in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand.
